Attention shoppers! You like knowing when you’re online order might be arriving right? Well, Google has just made another change to search ads helping you get more information about when your order will arrive.
This is the latest change Google is adding to Search Ads since this time last year. Around November 2021, the search engine announced new methods to calculate shipping speeds with Google Merchant center.
Order Accuracy Estimates & More!
Google has been testing new features to Search Ads. They are “…showing the on-time delivery percentages and order accuracy percentages in some of the Google Ads search listings,” SEO Roundtable reports.
This new change will keep shoppers happy and provide users with more information about each search ad. Below you can see images that SEO expert Brian Freiesleben posted on Twitter. He was quick enough to capture the change, take a look.
The ‘order accuracy estimates’ and ‘delivery percentages’ are listed to the right of the vendor ratings and reviews.
This design is a nice way to complement the reliability of the vendor and promote more sales based on efficiency of orders. Especially for e-commerce websites that may be lesser known, this could be an added feature that will draw more users.
As of now, Google hasn’t made any statements about these changes. But with so many add ons to Google search ads and shopping over the past few months, users could expect a statement in the near future.
